How to iron a shirt

Do you bother to iron a shirt? Some are quite crease free these days but even so it is a nice thing to have a crisp clean crease free one to go out in. Rather than get your mum to do it why not take the bull by the horns and have a go yourself? It’s not as hard as you think.

For example, if you’ve bought some natty Farah Shirts from https://www.ejmenswear.com/men/farah you’ll want them to look in the peak of perfection before you give them a run out at the local discotheque. So how do we start? First of all you will need two things, one is an Iron and the second is an Ironing Board. You can do this without one involving towels but it can result in an iron shaped burn on the carpet.

First do the collar, then do the back stretching it out over the board. The way to do it is to stick to sections. You can work from the back to the sides and then stretch out the arms and do them. The trick is not to fold the shirt wrong or you will end up with an incorrect crease.
