Choosing Bathroom Tiles

When you are renovating a bathroom, at some point the decision about the tiles that you want to use will come up. Choosing tiles for a bathroom is a big decision as they are not only something that have a practical use, but they are also a big part of the style of the room.

The choice of tiles depends on many things. Whether you want a modern contemporary look, or something more traditional such as these marble tiles from Irwin Tiles, the layout of the room, your budget and the colours that are in the room.

The features in the bathroom also play a part. Tiles are often found around things like a sink, a bath or a shower and can be used to highlight certain features of the room. The size of the area that you want to tile also plays a part. You might want to use tiles to create a decorative feature or lay them out in a particular shape.

Another thing to consider is floor tiles and wall tiles. Some people choose to keep the walls neutral and go for a pattern or bolder look on the floor, or vice versa.  If the room is on the smaller side, a great tip to help you is to go for tiles that are also smaller as larger tiles, may be too much for the space.

All in all, when you are choosing tiles for a bathroom, make sure that you are also taking the rest of the room and the space into account to help you make the best choice.
